Paula Grace, President

Paula Grace brings extensive experience in development, education and human
behavior to all areas of workplace and academic achievement. Since founding
Grace Training, Inc., she has designed, produced and directed instructional
experiences that are rich in content and application, quick-paced,
inspiring, and fun for employees, managers and trainers throughout the
world. She has written, spoken about, and conducted training in performance
consulting, communication, presentation, international business, and
training trainers, and her articles on training, sales and management have
been published in the US and Europe.
Background
Grace has had numerous opportunities to interact with a wide variety of
organizations. After eight years in sales and sales management, she was put
in charge of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Training for ComputerLand
Corporation, where she designed and delivered ComputerLand's national
franchisee, store manager, and sales training courses. From there she moved
to DHL Worldwide Express as Training Manager. She continued to design and
facilitate training classes, this time to an international audience.
After
two years based in London, England, where she traveled throughout the world
consulting with DHL managers and conducting training programs, she returned
to DHL in the US where she was promoted to Director of Human Resource
Development. She left DHL in 1990 to start her own consulting business.
Since founding Grace Training, Paula Grace has created and managed educational,
change management, and training projects for various audiences; written,
produced, and directed hundreds of training programs and performance
interventions for a diverse array of clients; and served on the Board of
Directors for the Professional Society of Sales and Marketing Trainers.
Throughout the 1990's she taught courses in training and development at the
University of California, Berkeley Extension, in addition to graduate courses in
international human resource management at Golden Gate University Graduate
School of International Management, and spent five years on the faculty of
the Marketing Department at San Francisco State University School of
Business. She is a well-respected keynote speaker, and has delivered
addresses to the Lakewood Publications "Best Of Training" Conferences, the
Annual Meetings of the Professional Society of Sales and Marketing Trainers,
the Czechoslovakian Business Women's Conference in Prague, and the annual
Women in World Trade Conferences in Los Angeles and Orange County.
